Fantastic to see the new blog! Given the location for the scholar's scavenge and evening social, what is the recommended dress code for Day 1? I'm assuming some kind of beachwear would be appropriate? So perhaps it would be advisable for students to bring a change of clothes with them that day, so you don't have 2000 students turning up to the opening ceremony in their shorts and flip flops!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's fantastic to see a great response from our community!
ReplyDeleteFor Day 1, we recommend that participants bring an extra change of clothes just in case they wish to engage in water-based activities during the social at the wavehouse.
For Day 2, it is also recommended that students bring an extra change of clothes in case they wish to change for the night pwaafari (given that they are attending it).
For Day 3, participants will have plenty of time to head back to the hotel and change in time for the scholar's ball at Zouk, so no extra change of clothes will be recommended.
And finally, for Day 4, participants are recommended to either come in business casual attire or their school uniforms!
Pwaa,
Jerry the Alpacaa
Great! Thanks for this info. Please confirm the dress code for the students generally? Is it uniform or do they wear their home clothes?
ReplyDeleteIt's up to the students to dress in either uniform or non-uniform clothes. We recommend they adhere to a business casual dress code!
DeletePwaa,
Jerry the Alpaca
Thank you for the updated schedule, now we can plan our journey and travel arrangement accordingly.
ReplyDeleteFor Day 1, what time should participants residing in singapore report at the Star Theatre?
ReplyDelete9.30am would be ideal, unless participants plan on attending check-in time which starts at 9am!
DeletePwaa,
Jerry the Alpaca
Thanks! What does it mean by check in time though.. Also, could you please advice on what time we should report for the rest of the days too?
DeleteMy students and I wish to join the Pwsafari and how do we make the payment in order to get the early bird discount price at USD48?
ReplyDeleteOn the 2nd day, where will be the school venue. Coz our delegates will have their own transport. Thank you.
ReplyDeletePlease clarify
ReplyDeleteLunch is now being provided by WSC on the 26th?
Dinner @ Wavehouse is private or by WSC on the 26th?
Lunch is not being provided now on the 27th?
